Culture Club

Welcome to my new Culture Club series. As a Traveling Mamarazzi, I am writing stories and interviews about interesting people we meet along our travels.

Culture Club stop Germany: Interview with writer Andreas Izquierdo. I am a huge fan of his humorous and beautifully written novels (Das Glücksbüro (The Happiness Bureau)Romeo & Romy) and excited to talk to Andreas about one of his books that targets travel (Dartpilots). He and his friends threw darts (blindfolded) at a large world map and wherever the darts landed they traveled to. Let's ask him about it.

This interview is in progress and coming soon!

Interview with Scarbie (Star & Creator of Drag Queen Show Lip-Schtick)

In a political climate of discrimination and hatred in our country, I wanted to interview Scarbie (aka David), an amazingly smart and witty drag queen living and performing in Provincetown to support his beautiful message about acceptance and tolerance.

Gregori’s bookstore. A rare gem of history, knowledge, patience and passion.

When traveling to Greece (Crete) this summer, I set out to write about some interesting Greek people. Gregori's bookstore however came to me and I didn't have to go looking for this beautiful gem.
